BIOGRAPHY

Since moving to Savannah, Georgia from Virginia Beach, Virginia, I find myself drawn to the serenity of the nature that surrounds me. I am amazed at the plethora of wildlife and feel compelled to incorporate it into my art. Even my very own backyard is full of birds, deer, squirrels, and other creatures. While living in the Virginian suburbs, the most I saw were birds and rabbits, so this has been quite the treat.

I am a self-taught artist with a passion for aesthetically pleasing design. Since my time living in Japan, I've developed a great appreciation for Asian art and love working with Chiyogami and Yuzen papers. I wanted to embody these elements in my work.
